Well, well, well, what have we here? It seems like we have some pro-Palestine protesters getting their march on in Ottawa. And they brought their signs, their chants, and their ferocious spirit with them. You go, you beautiful people.
Now, if you're like me, you're probably wondering what the fuss is all about. Luckily, I have some insider intel in the form of this hella fancy data. Apparently, there's been some major conflict between Israel and Palestine (ya don't say?) and these protesters are showing their support for the latter.
And what better way to do that than a good ol' fashioned march through downtown Ottawa? I mean, sure, you could send a strongly worded email or post a fiery tweet, but nothing says "I care about a cause" like a good pair of marching shoes.
But let's not forget about the signs. Oh, the signs. I'm sure there were some real gems in there. "Free Palestine" is a classic, but maybe someone got creative and wrote "Palestine deserves better than Netanyahu's haircut" or "Make falafel, not war." Okay, those are terrible examples, but you get the point.
All joking aside, it's important to stand up for what you believe in, even if it means taking to the streets with a bunch of strangers. So to all of those pro-Palestine protesters in Ottawa (and everywhere else), keep on marching. Your voices are being heard, loud and clear.
